Callander > Callander Guesthouses > Coppice House
Coppice House, situated in the picturesque village of Callander, is an ideal place to stay and explore the Trossachs in Scotland. The Coppice is surrounded by many local facilities, minutes away from fine restaurants and local shops, and directly opposite Callander Meadows. The Coppice is a small, family run BandB with three bedrooms all featuring ensuite shower or bath rooms, and a comfortable guest lounge in which to relax no matter what the weather. The house was built in 1875, some years after the opening of the Glasgow to Callander railway line, for the family of a Glasgow doctor, and was originally intended as the family's summer residence. The house maintains many of the original fine Victorian features such as elaborate plasterwork, high ceilings, and sash and case windows, and is distinguished by its fine central turret.
